No, new paragliders are not test-flown before delivery.
Although some manufacturers mention a test flight in their documentation, this is not actually carried out by dealers in practice.
Test-flying a wing would mean it is no longer strictly new (signs of use, dirt, etc.), which is not compatible with selling it as a new product.

It is recommended to:
- perform a full visual inspection (fabric, lines, risers)
- carry out an initial ground handling session
- read the manufacturer’s manual
👉 Preparing and checking the wing is the pilot’s responsibility, regardless of experience level.
